WOW, what an awesome Red White and Babies Inc. event we had on 10 May. With 31 families registered and over 75 sponsors and 20 volunteers, we are humbled by the support and appreciation shown to our military and 1st responder families. To all who were invaluable assets to the success of this event, from our storage unit sponsors, Shaw Storage, The Cube and A1 Storage; to the venue, USC-Sumter Nettles Gymnasium; the food/drink, Dupre’s Catering; the table decorations and cake, Divine Party Planning; our photographer, Jennifer Kaylor; each individual volunteer and most especially, every one of our sponsors, we say THANK YOU! It is because of your support, generosity and dedication that our Heroes are so blessed. I think I can safely say that each mom & dad that attended were overwhelmed by the support and gifts. A special Thank You to Brianne for your very informative presentation on breastfeeding essentials, tips and Tricare/insurance coverage. Your raffle gifts were outstanding!
Each mom received a gift bag at registration filled with vouchers and gift certificates from TinyBeans (1 yr. free subscription), StuckOnYou (free Birth Announcement Pkg plus a $40.00 gift certificate to raffle), Balticessentials ($5.00 gift certificate plus a multi amber Necklace to raffle), Baby-banana (50% discount coupon), Cake Lingerie (10% coupon plus $50.00 gift certificate to raffle), Toofeze (25% discount coupon plus 2 gift sets to raffle) and Uponafarm (gift certificate for 1 free item) and individual packets of Nipple Cream and Diaper Balm from Motherlove. Along with the pictured products on our 3 raffle tables, Pediped donated a $40.00 gift certificate, Softstarshoes donated a pair of moccasins, Chewbeads donated a car seat/stroller attachment and necklace, Nested Baby sent a $100.00 gift certificate and Gathre donated 1 mini & 1 maxi mat set. As it turned out every mom received a gift off the raffle tables.
